Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has reflected on the hardships he faced before achieving success, revealing that he once performed at birthday parties and weddings for just ₹5,000 to support himself. Speaking on the podcast “Q with Tom Power”, the Punjabi star said his difficult childhood taught him the value of money and inspired him to seize every opportunity that came his way.
Dosanjh shared that he grew up in a financially struggling family where even basic healthcare was a luxury. Recalling those days, he said there were times when the family could not afford to visit a doctor, making him realize the importance of financial stability from an early age.
