Chandigarh, August 10: The Sadguru Kabir Mahasabha and Dhanak Mahasabha will organise a grand felicitation ceremony on August 12 to honour newly appointed office-bearers, including Haryana BJP State Vice-President Sunita Duggal, State President of the Scheduled Caste Morcha Ajay Khundia, newly appointed Chairperson of the Haryana Scheduled Caste Commission Banto Kataria, and Vice-Chairperson Renu Dabla.
The ceremony will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday at Lake Club, Sector 1, Chandigarh. Professor Jai Narayan, the convenor of the programme, said that Haryana Government Minister Krishan Bedi and former Chairperson of the Scheduled Caste Commission Ravinder Baliyala will be present as special guests.
He said the objective of the event is to felicitate the newly appointed office-bearers and extend best wishes to them on behalf of the community. Ram Mehar Sulehda is the chief advisor to the programme. The organisers have appealed to members of the community and supporters to attend the ceremony in large numbers.
